If you want your brochures, catalogs, bookmarks or business cards become more interesting, follow the simple steps below.

Use factoids.  These are simple facts about your product which you can turn into cool facts.  Even if your product is considered dull, you can still find facts about it which can be turned into cool facts.  You may have a product such as industrial hoses which you can make more interesting by using your manufacturing statistics saying “We manufacture hose enough to wrap Texas by 1,500 times.

Make it easy for recipients to easily get your message by simply looking at your graphics.  Most brochure recipients don’t read the brochure’s content entirely, instead they just rely on the graphics.  Use pictures or graphics in which the message will be easily conveyed.  But be careful not to over-crowd the brochure.  It is important to find the right photos.  Take your time looking for the best images available.  Online is the fastest way to search for photos but it takes some digging to get the best.  Don’t rush on picking pictures, you should find the right one which will successfully catch more attention.

Use different sizes for every pages to create a stair look.  You can also fold some pages so other pages will look longer.  Use unique die cut for your cover page like a round corner to increase interest.

Lastly, make it easy for the recipient to contact you.  Place your business name, phone number and email on the back page or the panel of the brochure.  You can also use graphics to segment these information so they will be easily found.
