Tips for a peaceful deep sleep

If you want to have a peaceful deep sleep, you may try these time-tested natural methods:

  1. Relax your body and mind. Try not to think on anything.
  2. Rest your back on the bed. For me, this is the most comfortable position to have a good sleep because the back had been so tired for the whole day.
  3. Keep your room temperature cool or warm depending on the weather.
  4. Play soothing music.
  5. Ask your partner to massage your back
  6. Others find drinking hot milk before bedtime effective if they want to fall asleep fast
  7. Wear loose comfortable clothes.
  8. Read books until you feel sleepy. Kids used to get sleepy fast when somebody reads book for them.
  9. Don’t drink coffee 2 to 3 hours before you sleep.
  10. Have a hot bath, this will relax your tired body and make you fall asleep fast.
  11. Rest your back on comfortably soft pillows.
  12. Don’t let negative thoughts disturb your mind
  13. Wear ear buds if possible so no one can disturb you
  14. Keep your room’s light dim.
  15. Position your bed near the switches of the light or the air conditioner so that if you have to switch them on, you would not have to stand up for this may disturb your sleeping.
