Climate Change and Global Warming…

Global Warming has one solid proof of evidence nowadays… Climate Change. Climate change is undeniably obvious. In some parts of Asia, people were surprised of the early arrival of storms when it is supposed to be extremely hot like in its last few years. China, Taiwan and Philippines are now experiencing storms and heavy rains. Climate change is just an effect of Global warming which is also caused by strong concentration of Greenhouse gases in the atmosphere.

Human actions have effects on the level of greenhouse gases in our atmosphere, which has other effects upon the system, Common greenhouse gases in the Earth’s atmosphere include water vapor, carbon dioxide, methane, nitrous oxide, ozone, and chlorofluorocarbons.

Future effects of Climate Change

  • Food and water shortages
  • Sea level rise and coastal inundation
  • Increased coastal and inland storm damage
  • Increase in regional flooding and droughts
  • Large increase in species extinction
  • Movement of disease-carrying insects into currently unaffected areas

When will we ever start implementing global warming solutions? By the time you’ll be able to observe the global warming effects for yourself, it might be too late for us to avoid disaster. Let’s not forget that greenhouse gases stay up in the atmosphere for a long time, and fighting this problem is more likely trying to stop a huge cargo ship—even after you stop the engines, it would take quite a while to make the ship stop. If we don’t take significant actions within this decade, the harmful effects of climate change might become seriously unpreventable.
