My Sagada Experience…
Approximately seven hours away from Baguio City, Benguet, passing through the rough roads of the north is Sagada, a haven lying and hiding in the midst of Mountain Province. If you want to scape from the pollution of the modern living, this is the place for you. If you are seeking for peace of mind, this is the place to be. If you want adventure, you won’t regret paying a visit to this wonderful place.
The last time I’ve been to Sagada, the temperature was around 18 degree celsius, I already felt so cold until I was informed that sometimes the locals there even experience an even colder temperature of 10 degree celsius.
Sagada is perfect for those who would like to stay for around at least a week because you have a lot to see there, A week is not enough if you really wish to experience the attractiveness and exquisiteness of Sagada. From the inexpensive lodge inns there to the wonderful locals and the Breathtaking views like the Hanging Coffins, Sumaguing Cave, Lumiang Burial Cave, Sugong Cave, Echo Valley, Lake Danum, the Pottery, the Underground River and a lot more.
What you will find amazing there is that you will be given comprehensive package tours (tours are pre-programmed according to their locations so you can easily travel the whole place town)
How do I get there?
Although you can bring your own vehicle to Sagada, I suggest that you just take a bus for you to enjoy the views and avoid the tiring seven hour rough road drive. From Dangwa Bus Station (Baguio City) you can find buses going to Besao, the bus will drop you straight to Sagada Municipal Hall, from there Hotels and Inns are just nearby.
