Global warming may worsen diseases
Everyday, I work in front of my computer as part of my everyday life, What I like most in my line of work is that I get to discover a lot of new things and new information and data about the current happenings making me updated at my surrounding at all times. When I was browsing the net about my past write-ups, I got something that I think I have to share to people most especially to my readers and friends.
What I am talking about is an information that I would like to share to all of you in this post. About the “Deadly by the Dozen”, the 12 diseases that global warming may worsen. If you had already browsed at my post in the month of May entitled “Climate change and Global Warming” you will see the future effects of global warming to the humanity and to all the living as well. Now in this post, I want to show more about that what I call the “Deadly by the Dozen”.

- Cholera
- Ebola
- Parasites (Baylisascaris procyoni)
- Lyme Disease
- Plague
- Red tides
- Rift Valley fever
- Sleeping sickness
- Tuberculosis
- Yellow fever
To cut it short, if we are already experiencing so many problems nowadays, There will be a lot more to come. I’m sure it’s not yet too late if we will all act towards it. Each and everyone has his part and role in his habitat. Let us all act towards it.

A simple wish
A blonde, a brunette, and a red head are stuck on a deserted island. One day the red head found a magic lamp. She rubbed it and a genie came out. He said, “For letting me out, I will grant each of you one wish.” So the brunette says, ” I wish I were with my boyfriend.” So she disappers and is taken to her boyfriend’s house. The red head says, “I wish I were with my family.” Then she disappers into her family’s house. Then the blonde says, “Aw, I’m lonely, I wish my friends were here.”
That truck
A dumb blonde calls the fire department and says, “Help me- my house is on fire!!” The fireman says, “Where do you live?”
The dumb blonde replies, “I don’t know”
The fireman asks, “How do you expect us to get there?”
The dumb blonde replies sarcastically, “Duhhhh, the little red truck”
Painting Contractor
A painting contractor was speaking with a woman about her job. In the first room, she said she would like a pale blue. The contractor wrote this down and went to the window, opened it, and yelled out “green side up!” In the second room, she told the painter she would like it painted in a soft yellow. He wrote this on his pad, walked to the window, opened it, and yelled “green side up!” The lady was somewhat curious, but she said nothing. In the third room, she said she would like it painted a warm rose color. The painter wrote this down, walked to the window, opened it and yelled “green side up!” The lady then asked him, “Why do you keep yelling ‘green side up’?” “I’m sorry,” came the reply. “But I have a crew of blondes laying sod across the street.
Battle of the East and West…
The whole world watched the biggest fight of the year, the Battle of the East and West. A fight between Manny “Pacman” Pacquiao of the Philippines and Ricky “Hitman” Hatton of The Great Brittain. Everytime Manny Pacquiao had a fight seemed a fight between countries’ pride to me, his previous fights with Morales, Barrera, Dela Hoya, Marquez and the rest, my bet was solely the Pacman.
On the day of the match between Pacquiao and Hatton, that was around 3:00 in the afternoon in the Philippines, i merely see a noticeably few passenger jeepneys and other public transportation on the road. Obviously, people were busy watching the match (though we can also say that some are just sleeping and having their ciestas). And when the match was over, as i go back home after watching the match with my friends, I noticed the business of the road back to normal.
It was a good match, I enjoyed watching the it and was amazed to see how The Pacman knocked down his opponent in just two rounds, just seconds before the round was supposed to end. Too bad for Ricky Hatton, if only the bell saved him from that very powerful punch, he could have perhaps fought a little more. Heard the Royalties were so disappointed with Hatton. Some were also disappointed to know that such a big match would end that fast. A big match, a big preparation, a big wait, ended in just a flash.
